Introduction to Metalsmithing

This workshop is designed for beginners. It will introduce you to basic metalsmithing jewelry design and techniques such as sawing, hammering, polishing and soldering. You will be able to finish one piece of your favorite design.

Material include 2' X 2' piece of copper or brass (your choice), and all tools and polishing material. Additional material and silver will be available for purchase.

Introduction to Glass Bead Making

Spend a day learning the basics of torchworked glass beadmaking. We will discuss safety, equipment, and show you the basics of glass beadmaking. Learn in a world class teaching studio using the latest and best equipment. You will be using the popular two gas Minor Burner Torch in this workshop. All materials are included. Sign up with a friend and both of you take 15% off the class fee.

Stamped Disk Pendant Workshop

In this workshop you will make your own pendants. You'll learn how to texture a brass or copper disc and be able to personalize it with an initial or your own design. (Sterling silver is available for purchase). Materials and resource list will be provided. The chains will be available for purchase.

Getting married?? Bring your bridal party and make your own jewelry for the special celebration. During this workshop you will learn how to make and take home beautiful items suitable for wedding, such as earrings, bracelet or necklace. Material include hand made beads and findings. Chains and silver will be available for purchase.

Bridal Workshop

Create your own blown glass ornaments to hang on the tree or give as a special holiday gift!! You will be able to select and add color to a pre-made glass points to create a unique glass ornament. You may wish to sign up with family members or a group of friends to start a new tradition by creating your own holiday memory in glass. Each student can make approximately 3 ornaments.
